WONDER WHAT GOES THROUGH HER MIND IN THE FINAL MOMENTS?
More than 20 million children and adolescents are taking prescribed psychiatric drugs known to cause severe side effects such as aggression, murder and suicide. In fact, the US Food and Drug Administration has slapped antidepressants with black box warnings strongly cautioning consumers against suicide.
Black box warnings are included in every antidepressant drug package, but how many psychiatrists warn their patients? Or parents? And how many patients or parents actually read the fine print?
The historical connection between psychiatric drug use and suicide is obvious. Between 1999 and 2018, prescriptions for psychiatric drugs shot up by nearly 50 percent, while the suicide rate soared by a third. Yet psychiatrists will prescribe these drugs to prevent suicide—then blame what happens next on their patients’ “mental illness.”
The numbers don’t lie: putting yourself into the hands of psychiatry is a very dangerous undertaking. Compared to people receiving no psychiatric treatment:
- Those getting psychiatric outpatient treatment are eight times more likely to kill themselves.
- If visiting a psychiatric emergency room, that rate multiplies to nearly 28.
- And if they are admitted to a psychiatric hospital, it soars by a factor of 44.
Every year the number of people across the world who die by their own hand nearly doubles the total number buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Yet psychiatrists—the self-professed mental health “experts”—have not only failed to lower the suicide rate, they are creating more victims than ever.
